These terms govern the use of Fiker Think Tank Institute’s website and the materials available through it. Please read them alongside the Privacy Policy and any terms accompanying a particular publication or service.
Draft — full registered legal name and effective date to be confirmed before publication.
Purpose of the Website
The website provides information about the Institute, its services and activities, and access to research materials authorised for public release.
Service descriptions and correspondence through the website do not constitute an agreement to undertake a particular assignment. Commissioned work is governed by a separate agreement defining its scope, deliverables, and responsibilities.
Using and Citing Content
You may consult publicly available materials and share links to their pages. Quotations and citations must comply with the applicable licence and law, acknowledging the author, publication title, publisher, publication date, and link, where available.
Preserve the meaning and context of the original material. Extracts and charts must not be presented in ways that distort their meaning or suggest conclusions unsupported by the source.
Republication and Translation
Availability for download does not grant unrestricted permission to republish, translate, modify, or commercially exploit a work. Check the publication’s terms and obtain permission from the rights holder where the proposed use is not covered by its licence or applicable law.
Translations and independent analyses based on Institute materials must be clearly distinguished from the originals. They must not be presented as approved by the Institute without its express approval.

Research Findings and Data
Findings should be interpreted in relation to the study’s methodology, fieldwork period, target population, and data limitations. They should not be generalised to populations, periods, or settings unsupported by the research design.
Any available datasets are subject to their accompanying terms. Users must not attempt to identify research participants from published data or link it with other sources for that purpose.
Authors’ and Third-Party Rights
Rights belong to the respective holders as identified in the relevant credits and licences. The website may include jointly produced publications, photographs, graphics, and audiovisual materials subject to separate rights.
The appearance of an organisation’s name or logo does not grant permission to reuse it or imply an affiliation, approval, or endorsement that does not exist.
Acceptable Use
Use the website lawfully and respect others’ rights and privacy. Impersonation, harmful or misleading submissions, unauthorised access to systems or data, and interference with website operation or access are prohibited.
Anyone submitting documents or materials must be authorised to share them. Submission alone does not transfer ownership or grant permission to publish.
External Links
The website may link to sources and platforms operated by other organisations. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. Including a link does not imply endorsement of every statement or opinion on the linked website.
Updates and Corrections
Pages and materials may be updated when new information becomes available or corrections are needed. Study and publication dates remain relevant to interpreting the information presented.
To report an error or raise a concern about rights in published material, please email the Institute with the page link, a description of the concern, and supporting information.
Privacy
The Privacy and Data Protection page explains the handling of personal data associated with the website and communications with the Institute. Research participation is also covered by the information and privacy notices specific to each study.
Contact and Changes to These Terms
Changes will be published on this page with their effective date. They do not, by themselves, amend separate agreements entered into with the Institute.
